A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to work with Erica Velasco as a second shooter at a Vietnamese Tea Ceremony. I had never photographed something like that before. It was different, but pretty exciting to be a part of. The brides dress was hand made by her mother in law, and it was just beautiful. I loved how colorful everything was. Although I couldn’t understand most of what was said, I was still able to pick up on the very strong traditions of the family and what an emotional time it was for everyone involved.
