What do you get when you put together, Dora the explorer, arts & crafts, hugs, giggles, dancing, smiles, cupcakes, ice cream, presents, balloons, best friends, candy & music?
You get one amazingly sweet 3rd birthday party.
Oh, hello everyone! Yes, I realize it’s been an unmentionably long amount of time since my last post. Yikes. Sorry about that.
But what better way to get back into blogging than with these sweet pictures of little miss Cate.
The last time I took her pictures, she looked like this:
And now she’s 3! A super cute little bundle of energy and smiles.
A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to work with Erica Velasco as a second shooter at a Vietnamese Tea Ceremony. I had never photographed something like that before. It was different, but pretty exciting to be a part of. The brides dress was hand made by her mother in law, and it was just beautiful. I loved how colorful everything was. Although I couldn’t understand most of what was said, I was still able to pick up on the very strong traditions of the family and what an emotional time it was for everyone involved.
Bubbles, green grass and lollipops was all this family needed to have a good time.
It was such a delight to photograph the Stayers. They had smiles on their faces the whole time, ( well, except for the little guy, but I managed to snap some pictures of his smile when he thought I wasn’t lookin’!) and I’m pretty sure they had as good a time as I did.
I’m not sure you’ll be able to handle all the cuteness in this post, but please try, it will be worth it!
